Afrigold was established to form a direct link between worldwide producers and our vast, international customer base. We offer a year-round supply of premium quality citrus, grapes, apples, pears and avocados. It is thanks to our collaborative relationship with our produce partners, that we can provide such an extensive basket of fresh produce, direct from the orchid. In addition, we recently invested in citrus production in Botswana to establish one of the largest citrus estates in Southern Africa. This will further expand our basket, and will provide our customers with the earliest, premium quality citrus, straight from Southern Africa. However, it doesn’t only positively impact our customers. This project will provide many, significant benefits for the local community, including education, training and employment opportunities.

Community Focus
Our Focus
We are dedicated to building sustainable growth in communities through our newest Botswana development known as Selebi Phikwe Citrus. The project over the course of 8 years will be the single largest citrus plantation in Southern Africa and employing approximately 1500 workers. This is a outstanding initiative driven by local South African Farmers, AfriGold and Local Botswana parties.
